Everything we do as individuals and as a business is driven by our passion to make the world greener and more sustainable for everyone. This commitment started on day one, when our co-CEOs quit their day jobs to start Zeno in 2015. Since then we’ve done everything we can to donate and work towards initiatives at a local and global level.
Making an impact through our work
World leaders, national organizations, and local communities are working to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. We’re on the ground, doing anything we can to not only reach, but exceed as many of these goals as possible. See how we integrate some of these goals into our day-to-day operations.

Community projects
We take a portion of profits from each Zeno project and put it towards a community project. After installing hundreds of sustainable energy systems, we were able to outfit the Alberta Wilderness Association’s office building with a full turnkey solar PV system.
We plant 15 trees per install
As part of our commitment to reducing our operational impact on the environment, we have partnered with veritree to plant 15 verified trees per home installed.
#CITYCLEANUP
We’re committed to making a difference in the communities where we work. Our annual clean up events educate citizens about different climate issues and empower them to help make their community a cleaner place. Zeno’s #CITYCLEANUP is thanks to the many amazing local partners, volunteers, and community members who take part each year.
Strides for sustainability
Our team is committed to constantly improving themselves and the lives of those around us. In 2016, our co-CEOs committed to running 50 marathons, each time raising money for a different organization. This 2024, Zeno has pledged to raise $20,000 to help make organized sports accessible to young children through KidSport.
