About the Role:
This role will require an individual willing to work with a team and under the supervision of a Journeyperson, to effectively provide our clients with residential solar installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate 2-storey residential roofs safely with fall arrest equipment (provided).
• Ascend and descend 32ft extension ladders.
• Pull wire and install conduit, electrical boxes, and equipment.
• Carry & install solar modules on pitched roof faces.
• Assist team and Journeyman with electrical work required to complete solar installations.

We’re looking for a candidate who maintains a professional demeanor and possesses the following qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:

• Fluent in English.
• Experience in residential electrical work.
• Knowledge about basic home construction is an asset.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible to work varying hours and locations from Monday to Friday.
• Ability to lift solbs or more, multiple times per day.
• Willingness to learn of electrical prints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Self-motivated and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
• Basic electrical hand tools and 18v drill.
• Fall Arrest certification.
• Criminal background check.
