Solar rebates in Edmonton (NO LONGER AVAILABLE – OVERSUBSCRIBED)
Solar Rebate Program – The City of Edmonton is incentivizing Edmonton homeowners to go solar through its Change Homes for Climate solar program. In addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant, Edmonton homeowners can enjoy an additional $0.40/W based on the total system capacity and up to $4,000 off the total solar system cost (maximum 40% off eligible system cost). In total, Edmonton homeowners could get up to $9,000 of their solar system!

Town of Banff Solar PV Program – The Town of Banff is encouraging Banff homeowners to go solar through the Town of Banff Solar PV Program. In addition to the Canada Greener Homes Grant, Banff homeowners enjoy an rebate of $750/kilowatt (kW) of solar capacity installed, up to a maximum of 20 kW. In total, Banff residents could get up to $20,000 off their total solar system!
