Project Manager – Edmonton

The Project Manager will work directly under the Operations Manager, and be responsible for the successful execution of solar installations in Edmonton and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation crews;
• Support other operations functions in the office (ex. designers, project coordinators);
• Direct employee reviews;
• Collaboration on hiring and firing;
• Project planning to ensure budget and schedule adherence;
• Provide KPI’s and other weekly reporting metrics;
• Project efficiency and profitability reviews;
• Process improvement and creation;
• Speak with electrical inspectors;
• Host weekly field and operations meetings;
• Review and approve project documentation;
• Client communication and coordination;
• Project efficiency reviews with Manager;
• Interdepartmental coordination with sales, marketing, and finance;
• Purchasing;
• Supplier and distributor relationships.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years electrical experience (residential preferred)
• Red Seal journeyperson electricians will be given preference
• 1-3 years of Project Management experience
• Construction experience mandatory
• Supervisory experience mandatory
• Solar experience is an asset

• Time management and multi-tasking

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe
• Ability to learn and utilize new software easily
• Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
